Marla Tipping
Marla Tipping is the President of Caravel Consulting,
a leadership development and consulting services firm which specializes
in developing the people side of organizations. Caravel Consulting
focuses on aligning individuals’ professional development
needs with the mission and strategies of the organization. The
firm provides services in the areas of executive and leadership
development, mentoring initiatives and retention of key employees.
Her clients include major service, industrial and commercial corporations;
emerging growth companies and nonprofit organizations.
Marla’s previous experience includes several years in senior
staff and line positions in the consumer products industry. Prior
to her corporate experience, Marla practiced law with the Denver
office of Kutak Rock & Campbell and the Minneapolis firm of
Moss & Barnett.
Marla is a frequent speaker on issues affecting women in the workplace,
strategic relationship building and the effective use of mentoring.
She is also a frequent presenter of Continuing Legal Education
seminars on Elimination of Bias in the Legal Profession.
